WATCH THE BATTLES!!!!

Bring the entire family out and witness history recreated right in front of your eyes.  Watch as thousands of reenactors from all across this county and a number of foreign countries retrace the footsteps and the epic struggles seen here 150 years ago.  Join with the reenacting community as we honor the history that shaped this great nation and our ancestors who were there when it happened.

Please bring your lawn chair or a blanket for viewing the battles, no grandstands will be provided.

SHOP!!!!!

Come early and spend the day.  Browse a period shopping mall where folks referred to as Sutlers sell their wares.  Find uniforms, leather goods, women's apparel, books, candle lanterns, camp furniture, saddles, buttons, combs, footwear and just about any other item you can imagine from this period of our nations history.

LISTEN AND LEARN!!!!!

Guest speakers will impart their historically accurate knowledge on various topics throughout the day beneath the Activities Tent.

SATISFY YOUR HUNGER!!!!

Local Food vendors will be on site serving a variety of foods.

Take a stroll between the battles and visit the encampments of the soldiers and civilians of this time period.  If you can get past the pickets with the correct countersign you may just get to see some fellas boiling a cup of coffee, chewing on some hard tack or reading a letter from home.

Please be advised that this is an outdoor event and as such the ground upon which you will walk and view the battles will be open fields on a farm. The ground may be uneven or generally of a farm nature.  Be smart and dress appropriately.  Cool materials, hats, sunscreen and shoes will be items that prove most useful.  Nothing worse than getting ants on your feet or a little momento of the horses at the event stuck between your toes!

Bottled water will be available for purchase for about the same price as your local convenience store.  First Aid Stations will be staged throughout the spectator areas to keep you safe.

There is no fee for parking and no fee for children 12 yrs old and younger.

Come and see us and witness of the most historic battles of the Civil War.

Event address:  1845 Pumping Station Rd, Gettysburg, PA. 17325

Tickets are refundable only in the event that this event is cancelled.  The event will take place rain or shine!
