Federal Army Schedule

Wednesday, June 26

9 a.m.                   Papers from staff horses on site must be turned in now to AOP HQ (extra copy each of Coggins and Health Certificate.)

Thursday, June 27

9 a.m.                   Papers from staff horses on site must be turned in now to AOP HQ (extra copy each of Coggins and Health Certificate.)
7 p.m.                   Division commanders meet with Army commander Bob Minton at AOP headquarters.

Friday, June 28

7 a.m.                   Papers from staff horses on site must be turned in now to AOP HQ (extra copy each of Coggins and Health Certificate.)
8 a.m.                   Army infantry elements begin moving north on main camp road. 
                                         Order of march: 
                                                 Markijohn’s Division (CUTLER) 
                                                 Crofutt’s Brigade of Crowder’s Division (MEREDITH)
                                                 (Murray’s Brigade, other half of MEREDITH, will join at staging area)
                                                 Mifflin Guard + attached elements (STONE)
                                                 Remainder of Crowder’s Division (PAUL)

8:30-11:30am   The Battle Begins, Buford’s Stand, The Railroad Cut,  McPherson’s Ridge
Noon:                   Camp closed to vehicles.  Crowder’s Division posts camp entrance guard mount.
                                  Bag ice ($2) delivered at camp entrance.
Afternoon:         Drill, other activities at division commanders’ discretion
7 p.m.                   Army moves north on main camp road
8 pm-9pm         Battle of Culp’s Hill and East Cemetery Ridge
Midnight:
           Crowder’s Division ends guard mount

 Saturday, June 29, 2013

7 a.m.                    United States Volunteers ( Markijohn’s Division) posts camp entrance guard mount
7:30 a.m.             Bag ice ($2) delivered to camp entrance only
7 a.m. – 9 a.m.  Drill, other activities at division commanders’ discretion
10-11am             Hanover Cavalry Battle
1 p.m.                   Army assembles on main road
2pm-6pm          Battles of Devil’s Den, Little Round Top, Wheatfield, Peach Orchard

 Sunday, June 30, 2013

7 am                       Washburn’s Division post camp entrance guard mount
7:30 a.m.             Bag ice ($2) delivered to camp entrance only
8:30-9:15am     Culp’s Hill Counterattack Battle
9am-10am         East Cavalry Field Cavalry Battle
11 a.m.                                 Army forms up for dress parade on hill beneath Federal artillery camp

                                (Washburn’s Division ends guard mount as Army clears infantry camp)

12:30pm            Pickett, Pettigrew, Trimble Charge

Special notes: The Town of Fairfield is a long way from Federal camp and only accessible to and from Federal camp by shuttle. Shuttles will run constantly from Federal parking on a loop to sutlers and Federal camp.  Period civilians are to watch battles only from the regular spectator area.
